Ozge is a Research Fellow on the Evolution and Resilience of Industrial Ecosystems (ERIE) project, where she will be focusing on agent-based modelling of industrial ecosystems.
Ozge has recently completed her PhD at Lancaster University where she worked on theoretical explanations of diffusion of innovations and built a ‘grounded simulation model’ of inter-consumer diffusion.
Her research interests predominantly relate to evolutionary economics and computational social science. While investigating issues like product value, history dependence of demand, interdependencies between consumers and technology-induced social change Ozge aims to accommodate social construction of reality in computational models of social behaviour.
Ozge has previously worked at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research and has several years of work experience in manufacturing, IT and media industries in Turkey.
