Dario Taraborelli

Dario holds a PhD in cognitive science (EHESS, Paris, 2005) and has a background in cognitive science (MSc, EHESS, Paris, 2001) and philosophy of science (MA, Pisa, 2000). His interests span foundational and theoretical issues in the study of human cognition, with a particular focus on cognitive heuristics, modularity, and embodied/situated cognition.
His current research focuses on social computing. As a Marie Curie fellow at University College London (2006-2008), he studied the role of trust and reputation in information foraging. In 2008 he joined CRESS as a research fellow with FP6 project PATRES to study the dynamics of online collaboration and peer production.
He is editor of the Review of Philosophy and Psychology, a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Springer focusing on foundational and philosophical issues in cognitive science.
