WholeSEM Household Energy Monitoring Study
We are researchers from the University of Surrey working on a project exploring domestic energy use. The project is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council https://www.epsrc.ac.uk/
We are looking for participants who live in Guildford who would be willing to take part in the project. We are looking for participants who are aged between 35-65.
To take part in the project you need to have:
- A broadband internet connection
- Mains gas supply
Your participation will consist of:
- One short visit by a researcher to explain the nature of the project and assess the compatibility of your gas meter and our energy monitoring equipment
- The installation of energy monitoring equipment in your home for up to 13 months
- 3 interviews conducted in your home, the first two will involve showing the researchers around your home and answering questions in different rooms (each interview will last a maximum of 2 hours).

In return for your time and inconvenience you will be paid £100 at the end of the study.
This study has been reviewed and received a favourable ethical opinion from the University of Surrey Ethics Committee
