Making Decisions with Zombies

This is a practice seminar for the presentation I am giving at the British Science Festival. The description of that presentation is “How can governments use models to make policy? We look at several simple models that look at different aspects of ‘what should we do if zombies attack?’ and reach different conclusions. We will then look at a more detailed model about health promotion during an influenza epidemic using ideas from the zombie models.” It is intended to be a fun introduction to policy modelling and I would appreciate people coming along to give me ideas about how to improve it.
