Jakob Grazzini

Jakob is a Phd student at the University of Turin within the Doctoral Programme in Economics of Complexity and Creativity. His Master's thesis dealt with criticism of the Representative Agent and with the application of Agent Based Models in Economics (Tutors: Prof. Enrico Marchetti, University of Rome I and Prof. Pietro Terna, University of Turin). The aim of his present research is to understand the economy as a complex system, to dispute the use of representative agents in macroeconomic models and to analyse the importance of emergent properties within economic systems. His tutor is Prof. Pietro Terna. Jakob spent three months at the University of Surrey as an intern with CRESS
